I am using refrigerator Model R-S37SVND since 2010. On 5th Aug support call 462261 was registered and accepted by the company. Therewas an immediate response to state that someone will attend after calling in my mobile. Accordingly a man called me from Mobile 9833707802 around 3.15 PM and informed he will at my residence soon coming from Vikroli By bus. Around 4.10 PM a man arrived claiming he is from Hitachi and inspected the equipment and informed gas filling is required to cost Rs 5800. I paid him Rs 350 for the visit but no receipt or acknowledgement was give.
Now at 4.20 PM another man knocked at my door claiming he is from Hitachi and he was carrying the service document. I mentione to him that the piece is already inspected and paid for the service. I di not allow him to inspect the piece for fear security at my risk and raising suspicions. I abandoned the idea of gas gilling since no formal qutation is given but only verbally communicated price of Rs5800 communicated which is much on the higher side.
I would like the companys feedback on the above.
