I had policy with Birla Sun Life which I discontinued owing to cheating by agents. Recently, after a gap of 2/3 years I got a call from lady who said she was speakingfrom BSL Shakespeare Sarani office. His superisor asked to me pay Rs. 40,000 after which they would initiate a partial withdrawal. I paid it. Thereafter He is asking for a security deposit of Rs.51 thousand. His name is ASvijit Karmakar. How can I ascertain that he is a genuine employee of BSL? BS; recommends avoiding unsolicited calls. The call was of that character to begin with. He is still trying to dupe me. What shall I do? Just avoid or inform the police?
